Do you charge by the hour?
No. I don't price by the hour. Pricing is determined on an individual project basis. I almost always find a way to accommodate any client’s budget. In many cases it's simply a matter of a client saying "I have this much to work with, what can I get?" and we can take it from there.
How do you determine how much my quote will be?
Quotes are based on a variety of factors including: Complexity of Illustration, Final Art (B&W or Color), Usage, Circulation (when applicable), Deadlines, and Quantities.
Do I have to pay the full amount up front?
You do not have to pay the full quoted amount for the illustration up front. Once the illustration is completed, a sample image will be sent to you via e-mail. Once the final payment is received I will ship out the original artwork.
How long does a typical illustration take?
The average turnaround time for a spot illustration assignment from sketches to final art is 7 to 14 days. The more notice the better.
